Social Champ Review | An In-Depth Guide

If you own a small business and you’re interested in managing your social media accounts by yourself, you might find a lot of benefits in relying on a social media marketing tool that can help you with all the tasks.

In today’s article, we’re looking at Social Champ and what it can do for prospective buyers. While it is essentially designed for social media managers, it can be used by anyone who has a minimal grasp of what social media is and how it works.

Social Champ Review

What is Social Champ?

As its name already suggests, Social Champ is specifically made to help anyone handle the challenge of managing their social media presence.

In a nutshell, this is a piece of software that enables users to do anything from creating social media posts to editing and designing them, along with scheduling them so that they keep up with their followers.

It works with multiple platforms ranging from Instagram and Facebook to Twitter and Pinterest.

An important aspect that makes this tool recommendable is the fact that the dashboard is very easy to work with.

You do not need to have superior technical skills to understand what’s going on and how you can make the most of your social media presence, not to mention that the tool integrates with plenty of separate software options — which we will discuss in a section below.

Based on the Social Champ reviews that we came across, it definitely seems like this company has outstanding customer support.

And even though you might be willing to try it risk-free first, an agent is likely to answer your question especially if you’re asking about the perks of having a paid plan.

Why should you consider becoming a Social Champ user?

First of all, this is one of the most affordable social media management tools that are available right now.

It even has a free version (which, of course, comes with limited features), so you can rest assured that you can give it a try before investing your hard-earned cash into a paid subscription.

Another aspect that we would like to note is that Social Champ heavily relies on a separate group that can be found on Facebook and that enables customers to talk to each other about the best strategies and about how they can make the most of their plans.

So, not only is customer support on par when it comes to this brand, but community support is also largely available.

On top of everything, Social Champ is one of the few tools in this category that works with your Google Business Profile (previously known as Google My Business).

Social Champ Pricing – What You Should Know

All of the plans come with 7-day free trials, so that’s one less thing to worry about. But when it comes to Social Champ – what do their plans include and how much do they cost?

First off, the free version allows you to manage up to three social media accounts with unlimited post scheduling.

That’s about all that you get for just one user, so we would argue that this one strictly addresses the needs of bloggers and influencers, along with very small businesses that do not have other employees at this time.

The first paid plan is billed at $26 per month and comes with the ability to manage up to 12 social media accounts. You also get unlimited post scheduling along with several additional features such as content suggestions, content search based on keywords, along with royalty-free image searching. The Champion plan can be used by 2 users.

Next, we have the Business plan, which costs $89 per month. This one is starting to feel like it is designed for startups and small marketing agencies in the sense that it allows for management of up to 40 social accounts. Unlimited post scheduling is also included in this plan, but it can be used by 6 different users.

With the Business plan, you also gain access to 2 shared calendars, the ability to invite extra users, and you can even manage everything by assigning permissions and access and approve posts and workflow.

Finally, the most generous Social Champ plan that people can opt for is called Agency. The pricing of this one’s a mystery strictly for the reason that it is customized as per the needs and preferences of every business.

But just to give you an idea of what it can include, it can be utilized by more than 10 users in tandem for the management of more than 100 social media accounts. Users can also rely on up to five calendars for sharing and working with clients and other team members.

What tools does Social Champ integrate with?

This software literally integrates with everything you might ever need to properly manage your social media presence.

As you probably know by now, Canva is one of the most commonly used design tools out there right now and yes, Social Champ works with it, too.

Other integrations range from RSS and Bit.ly to VistaCreate, a WordPress plugin, a Chrome Browser Extension, Google Drive, Dropbox, Flickr, and Imgur.

In case you are encountering any issues whatsoever and you are still having a hard time telling whether this might be the right tool for you, you can always take a look at the Social Champ user guide

You’ll find your questions answered in that section, whether they deal with account management, post approval, UTM tracking, auto-RSS, bulk uploading, media integrations, or customizations for each and every network.

To make the most of your subscription and to find out how you can improve your social media presence, we also recommend checking out the Social Champ Podcast, a section of the so-called Community Talks.

Does Social Champ have an affiliate program?

If you want to start using Social Champ yourself but you also have a blog or other media property where you’d be interested in recommending it to your audience, you’ll be happy to know that Social Champ does have an affiliate program.

It’s quite decent compared to other affiliate programs that we have reviewed in the past in that you have the opportunity to earn 30% out of your referrals’ subscriptions for the whole duration of their plans (including renewals).

There’s even the possibility of you being paid a $50 bonus if you manage to have five new active referrals each and every month.

The nice thing about the program is that you can be paid through several different methods, not just PayPal. A few additional ones range from Stripe and bank account credits to credit for your own Social Champ account, in case you want to continue having a paid subscription.

All of the payments are sent out on the 20th of every month. The threshold is pretty much the same for Stripe, PayPal, as well as bank transfers, so you need to have acquired at least $50 in commissions. The only lower threshold is the payment in Social Champ credits, where the limit is just $20.

Social Champ Alternatives

In case any of the information that we have showcased isn’t convincing enough for you to consider giving the free trial a shot or getting a paid plan, you should check out a Social Champ alternative from the list below!

Hootsuite

Whenever you hear social media management, you automatically hear ‘Hootsuite’. This company has been around for a long, long time, and it comes with all the features any social media manager might need to handle their daily tasks.

The downside is that it is a little more expensive compared to other software options, with the cheapest plan being billed at $99 per month.

Granted, it is a full-option tool that enables all sorts of tasks from publishing and scheduling to content curation, campaign management, and monitoring and engaging, but we’d say that it’s a better choice for agency owners or actual social media managers rather than bloggers and the likes.

Zoho Social

We have mentioned Zoho in some of our previous posts and for a good reason, too. Like other services out there, such as HubSpot, Zoho can be used for a wide range of tasks, not only social media.

However, when it comes to this particular part of marketing, you can rely on Zoho for anything from scheduling unlimited posts to tracking conversations with customers and followers and measuring performance across multiple networks.

The pricing might seem a little steep compared to other software options, but you do get bundles with up to eight different apps, including for accounting and more. The more affordable version is priced at $69 per month with the monthly billing model.

SocialPilot

We’ve seen quite a bit of social media management tools combine a number of features so as to offer the most value to their users, and that is the exact case when it comes to SocialPilot

You can do pretty much anything with this tool, from managing social media accounts with publishing and scheduling to consulting your analytics and reports and measuring your engagement across different platforms.

In terms of pricing, we’d say that this one is quite affordable since with the yearly billing model, you can get a plan for $25.50 per month. You’re allowed to manage up to ten different social media accounts with one user.

Even the Agency plan is budget-friendly in this case, being billed at less than $200 per month and offering perks such as unlimited users, unlimited clients, and up to 50 social media accounts managed.

ContentStudio

The good thing about this one is that it also comes with a 14-day free trial, so you always have the option of testing the product before deciding to invest in a paid subscription.

Like some of the other services we have noted in this article, this one can be used to publish, automate, and visualize social strategies, along with a pretty nifty AI writer for social posts for when the rest of the team is away on vacation, for example.

Analytics are also very easy to understand in the dashboard and it’s one of the features that’s been recommended time and again by other marketers in the past. In terms of pricing, this one is also very budget-friendly, with the most affordable plan costing just $25 per month. The agency plan for small businesses costs just $99 per month.

Constant Contact

Even though this service largely focuses on email marketing rather than social media marketing, the plans do come with a number of features that can help you achieve the tasks in the second category, too.

We would argue that it is a bit more simplistic compared to what Social Champ campaigns can help you achieve, since you’re mostly going to be relying on it for finding new potential customers, scheduling content, and simplifying your social media presence across different platforms.

In terms of pricing, the Constant Contact Core plan is billed at just $9.99 per month and gives you access to the basic social media perks along with hundreds of email templates, integrations with anything ranging from Canva to WooCommerce and engagement reporting.

Sprout Social

While there are plenty of social media marketing platforms out there and they can definitely help, Sprout Social is particularly great at understanding your audience and its needs and preferences. This audience segmentation process can help you make the most of your efforts with marketing.

The downside is that Sprout Social is not cheap, so we would argue that it does not address the requirements of small bloggers and individual businesses. The Standard is billed at $249 per month and includes a variety of features, from review management to a social content calendar and social CRM tools.

HubSpot

If you’ve ever considered switching to a different CRM, you probably heard the brand name ‘HubSpot’ before. It’s an extremely generous service and it can help you achieve anything from managing a website to managing social media across an impressive number of social networks.

But the best social media features are present in their Professional plan, and that one is billed at $800 per month, making it one of the most expensive Social Champ alternatives out there.

There are cheaper versions, such as the Starter plan, billed at $18 per month with the yearly billing model, but it only includes limited things such as email marketing, forms, landing pages, payments, and email and in-app chat support.
