Today was another great day on Alpha fleet. We hit the ground running this morning with Dinghy dares! Dinghy Dares are essentially a set of challenges given to the fleet that they must complete with their boat and be judged/scored by staff boat. One of the best challenges was seeing how many life jackets you could get on one person. The winning boat got 25 life jackets!
After having a blast competing in dinghy dares, we left for Nanny Cay. Nanny Cay is a beautiful marina with loads of things to do on shore. After passing their cleaning inspections the kids were allowed to explore Nanny on their own.
They had a great time going to the beach, pool, grocery store, and some shops. Around 4:30 all the kids were allowed to make calls home and talk to their families. We are now at the halfway point of the trip and things are starting to move quickly.
Everyone is getting accustomed to boat life and starting to really hone their skills. The kids are all getting pumped up for OLYMPICS TOMORROW! We are all having a blast here in the BVI’s and miss you all back home!
