The holiday travel rush is on at airports across the country as travelers make their way home for the holidays.

It was a busy travel day on Friday (Dec. 22) at Detroit Metro Airport– where they’re expecting 1.5 million passengers this holiday season.

Things moved along quite nicely, with few delays and plenty of homecomings.
