Awarded a fifth-placed finish in Italy, the Peter Burling-led team currently sit fifth on the season standings and need a strong showing in Spain to resurrect their title hopes, after losing to Australia in last year’s final.
They were given the all-clear to line up, after completing a successful training day this week.
“We’re incredibly excited to be back,” said Burling. “It’s been quite a different journey for us as a team, but to have a wing again and be back racing is something we’re really excited for.
