Follow Our Journey! Lates – Day 13

Our four boats could be seen motoring from Trellis Bay to the Baths very early yesterday morning. The Baths is a national park here in the BVI that is a collection of large rocks on the shoreline – making it a perfect place for a hike and a snorkel (or ‘snorkel’ as we like to call it). Upon arrival at the Baths, we all had a good breakfast before arriving at the dinghy line for our snorkel portion of the ‘hikel’. It is just a quick snorkel to the shore where we started the hike. It is so much fun to go through the rocks and see all the natural beauty of the Baths.

After the Baths, the boats headed to Cooper Island to have some downtime to clean and pack before it was time to dock the boats at Hodges Creek Marina- the last stop. It was so amazing to see all the campers be experts on dockings and throwing lines after two weeks of learning how to be skippers and crew mates.

For the next few hours, the campers finished doing a big clean on the boats and finished packing their bags. We had a nice dinner buffet of ribs, mac & cheese, and vegetables. Shortly after, there were skit performances by each boats, awards (like fastest boat and winner of Olympics), and a slideshow of photos form the program.

It was then time for bed as the next morning it would be a very early morning wake up as we said goodbye to our final program of the summer. We have had so much fun with each and every camper and we hope to see them all next summer!
