It was a beautiful morning at the Bight on Normal Island yesterday and all of the kids ate a quick breakfast to get ready to start to move to the next spot. We went from the Bight to Benure’s bay with all the foxtrot kids. Myself and Harry gave the kids a turtling lesson on the importance of tagging turtles and how it keeps them from being endangered. Then us and the foxtrot kids jumped in and tried to catch one. We got very close but didn’t manage to grab one; however, all the kids got to see a few turtles and even some sting rays!

While we were doing this, Blue Buddha picked up a mooring ball at Soldier’s Bay which is the bay right next to Benure’s. There, they went on the tube and swam in the water. Also, there were some kids going on the Colgates and learning how to sail them for the first time.

After lunch we motor jibbed to Little Harbor where we med anchored. Med anchoring is where we drop the anchor and then tie a line to our stern and to a rock on shore. Then we went for a hike up to the abandoned buildings. Some of the kids went tubing and wake boarding while others went snorkeling. Everyone was back to boats by 4 ready for showers and to cook pasta for dinner. We played hot seat on Samoa after boat meeting before the kids powered down for the night.
